Gunvor Group Ltd. (Gunvor) and Commonwealth LNG announced that they have entered into a Strategic LNG Marketing & Gas Supply Agreement in relation to Commonwealth LNG’s proposed liquefaction and LNG export project in Cameron Parish, La. According to the press release, under the agreement, Gunvor will support Commonwealth in securing binding LNG offtake and gas supply agreements for the full capacity of the facility. Energy Transfer LP (Energy Transfer) announced that a comprehensive commercial tender package has been issued to engineering, procurement and construction contractors to submit final commercial bids for the proposed Lake Charles LNG liquefaction project being developed by Energy Transfer and Shell US LNG, LLC (Shell). FERC has released the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Jordan Cove Energy Project’s proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal in Coos Bay, Ore. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has issued orders authorizing long-term “small-scale natural gas exports” to Blue Water Fuels, LLC (Blue Water Fuels) and SpotX Energy, LLC (SpotX). Under DOE’s regulations, “small-scale natural gas exports” are deemed to be consistent with the public interest under section 3(a) of the Natural Gas Act. Yesterday, Delfin Midstream (“Delfin”) announced further progress in the development of its offshore LNG project.
