Reuters reports that Toshiba Corp will sell its Toshiba America LNG Corp unit to ENN Ecological, a unit of ENN Group, for $15 million. Sempra Energy and Total S.A. (Total) have announced that they have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that provides the framework for cooperation in the continued development of the Cameron LNG liquefaction and export project under construction in Cameron Parish, La., and the development of the Energía Costa Azul (ECA) liquefaction-export project in Baja California, Mexico. CBC News reports that the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has approved the construction of Pieridae Energy’s proposed Goldboro LNG liquefaction and export terminal in Guysborough County. FERC has released its draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for the proposed Texas LNG Brownsville liquefaction and export terminal on the Brownsville Ship Channel in Cameron County, Texas (Texas LNG Project). FERC has released the final environmental impact statement (EIS) for Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, LLC’s proposed Calcasieu Pass liquefaction and export terminal in Cameron Parish, La., and an interconnected pipeline. The liquefaction facilities would have a peak production capacity of 12 million metric tons of LNG per year.
