Stonepeak Signs Agreement For $1.3 Billion Equity Investment in Venture Global’s Calcasieu Pass LNG Project

Venture Global LNG, Inc. (Venture Global) and Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners (Stonepeak) jointly announced that “they have executed definitive agreements under which Stonepeak will exclusively provide a $1.3 billion equity investment” in Venture Global’s 10 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) Calcasieu Pass LNG export facility under construction in Cameron Parish, La. NextDecade Signs EPC Contracts with Bechtel for Rio Grande LNG Project

NextDecade Corporation (NextDecade) announced that it has signed two contracts with Bechtel Oil, Gas and Chemicals (Bechtel) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of NextDecade’s proposed Rio Grande LNG export project in Brownsville, Texas. According to the press release, the “fully wrapped lump-sum turnkey (“LSTK”) EPC contracts include cost, schedule, and performance guarantees. Cameron LNG Requests 15-Month Extension to Complete and Place Terminal Into Service

Cameron LNG has filed a letter with FERC requesting a 15-month extension, to September 19, 2020, to complete and place its liquefaction and LNG export terminal at Hackberry, La., into service. FERC Approves Freeport LNG Train 4 Expansion

FERC has issued an order authorizing construction and operation of liquefaction Train 4 at Freeport LNG’s existing import terminal near the city of Freeport, in Brazoria County, Texas. Train 4 will be able to produce an additional 5.1 million metric tons per annum of LNG (approximately 0.74 Bcf/day) for export. Cameron LNG Begins Production
