Existing Pipeline Needs Adjustments to Accommodate Gas Flow from Canada
The growing interest in LNG has spurred a deal between Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline and Anandarko LNG Marketing to pipe 813,000 MMBtu/day of gas from the planned Bear Head LNG terminal in Nova Scotia, Canada, and another agreement with Repsol Energy North America Corp. to deliver 750,000 MMBtu/day of gas from the proposed Canaport LNG facility in New Brunswick, Canada.
