Excelerate Energy Cargos May Remain on Board Vessels Long-Term

Excelerate Energy has begun to employ an unconventional strategy in order to capitalize on seasonal LNG market trends. As an alternative to rushing LNG shipments to specific destinations to minimize transport costs resulting from boil-off, cargoes may remain on board vessels for potentially six months or longer to take advantage of more favorable gas prices in peak months.
