Esperanza Energy has announced that it will incorporate TORP Technology’s HiLoad LNG regasification technology into the design of its LNG facility proposed offshore Southern California to minimize potential environmental impacts and eliminate the need for permanent infrastructure. TORP’s technology operates as a floating offshore riser that docks directly onto the LNG vessel, thereby eliminating relative motion between the ship and the regasification facility. TORP Technology previously announced its own LNG terminal proposal in the Gulf of Mexico.
