EPA Seeks Reconsideration of FERC’s Denial of Cooperating Agency Status in Weaver’s Cove LNG
This morning EPA filed a letter requesting that FERC reconsider its denial to grant EPA cooperating agency status in the Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal proceeding. The letter addresses FERC’s concern that EPA would not provide assurance that the agency would not release pre-decisional information. EPA also notes that a CEQ memorandum cited by FERC’s letter denying cooperating agency status “urges greater, not more limited, use of cooperating agencies.” EPA’s letter is available in the eLibrary under Docket No. CP04-36.
