Environmental Activist Criticizes Government for Bahamian LNG Development
The director of the environmental activist group reEarth criticized Prime Minister Perry Christie’s administration for saying it “is simply honoring the LNG policy that was put in place” by the former ruling party, the Free National Movement. “This decision cannot be thrown in the FNM’s lap,” she said, adding that the current government’s review of the LNG projects is inadequate.
