EIA: U.S. LNG Imports to Reach 940 Bcf in 2007

According to projections released by the Energy Information Administration on September 12, the U.S. is expected to import 940 Bcf of LNG in 2007, which is down from EIA’s earlier predictions. It would mark an approximately 34% increase, however, from estimated 2006 imports, which EIA projects will reach 700 Bcf. Platts LNG Daily has further analysis. [Subscription required]
