The U.S. Energy Information Administration predicts that 2007 LNG imports to U.S. markets will reach 790 Bcf, 35% above LNG imports in 2006. This increase may offset a projected 4.4% decline in pipeline gas imports, primarily from Canada. The EIA’s June 2007 Short-Term Energy Outlook provides additional details.
