The Providence Journal accused Rhode Island elected officials of riding “the good ship NIMBY” in their fight to oppose the Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal. Criticizing enactment of a bill that would bar the passage of LNG tankers through the Narragansett Bay, The Journal says voters will be disgruntled when “left with blackouts and public-health and economic disasters.”
