The Nassau Guardian has criticized the Bahamian government’s failure, despite two years of negotiations, to approve or deny the construction of AES’ proposed LNG pipeline from the Bahamas to Florida. The editorial also suggests that government approval of two pipelines to Florida, the one proposed by AES and another proposed by Suez-Tractebel, may be a sound financial move for the Bahamas.
