Citing the recent increases in gasoline and natural gas prices in the United States, The Patriot Ledger says that it’s time to “plan for solving our energy needs for decades to come.” The newspaper says that “too many Massachusetts residents and politicians” are fighting energy initiatives, such as the Weaver’s Cove and Battery Rock LNG proposals, instead of looking “hard and sensibly” at energy options.
