Dominion Energy CEO Thomas Farrell told industry analysts last week that he expects the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to approve the company’s application to export natural gas as LNG to countries with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement in place. According to Platts LNG Daily [subscription required], Farrell noted the significant natural gas supplies in the region surrounding Dominion’s Cove Point LNG facility.
