The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently granted authority to Cheniere Marketing, LLC (Cheniere Marketing) and Gulf Coast LNG Export, LLC (Gulf Coast) to export domestically produced LNG to nations with a Free Trade Agreement with the United States. Cheniere Marketing proposes to export LNG from its Corpus Christi LNG terminal and Gulf Coast LNG would export LNG from its proposed Brownsville, Texas terminal. The orders can be found on DOE’s website under Docket Nos. 12-99-LNG (Cheniere) and 12-05-LNG (Gulf Coast).
