Distrigas Official Responds on “Near Miss”
In response to The Boston Herald’s coverage of an incident in which a ship laden with rock salt nearly struck a dock near the Everett LNG facility, the external affairs director of Distrigas notes that such an incident would not present an LNG risk because, were an LNG carrier berthed at the terminal, the security zone would have prevented the salt ship coming near.
