Distrigas and Citizen’s Energy Team Up To Expand Low-Income Energy Programs

Distrigas, operator of the Everett LNG terminal in Massachusetts, has reached an agreement with Citizen’s Energy to contribute to a low-income energy assistance fund each time an LNG vessel docks at the terminal. The commitment totals $1 million dollars and the money will be used “to help residents whose government fuel assistance has run out.” The full story is found at The Boston Channel.
