Differing Views on Bear Head LNG Terminal’s Fate

Port Hawksbury Mayor Billy Joe MacLean expressed uncertainty over the fate of the Bear Head LNG terminal in Nova Scotia following the cancellation of a pipeline capacity agreement last week. However, Richmond County Warden Richie Cotton remains optimistic that construction on the facility will resume Oct. 6, nearly seven months after unsuccessful supply negotiations led to a work suspension.
