Development of Casotte Landing LNG Terminal Terminated by Chevron
Platts LNG Daily [subscription required] reports that Chevron has informed FERC that it has stopped development of the Casotte Landing LNG terminal project planned for the Mississippi Gulf Coast. According to Platts, Chevron cited changing dynamics in the international LNG trade as well as sufficient LNG regasification capacity in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico region as the reasons for halting development of the project.
