Citing a 1996 geological survey, a lawyer representing opponents of AES’ Sparrows Point LNG project alleges that the proposed site of the terminal is “unstable” because it is located along an earthquake fault line. However, AES spokesperson Zack Germroth maintains that the company has analyzed the area’s geology and employed “incredibly strict design standards.” The Baltimore Sun has the story.
