Cove Point LNG Rate Case Settlement Approved

Today, FERC issued an order approving a settlement of Dominion Cove Point LNG’s rate case. The settlement includes, among other things, provisions for Cove Point to amend its tariff to provide for operational purchases and sales of LNG cooling quantities, including an associated cost recovery mechanism, provisions for liquefier usage and cost recovery, and a requirement that Cove Point file a new rate case to be effective January 1, 2017.
