County Panel Decides Conditions for Jordan Cove LNG Land Use Permit
Coos County Commissioners (Ore.) yesterday decided what conditions will be attached to the land use application submitted by Jordan Cove LNG, and the Commissioners are expected to meet on November 26 to vote on the land use application with the approved conditions. The conditions generally require that Jordan Cove LNG undertake responsibility for all aspects dealing with construction and operation of the LNG terminal. KCBY TV reports that Jordan Cove LNG project manager Bob Braddock said the conditions were sensible and that the decision is a “step in the right direction.” Braddock went on to note that it may be more than a year until the permitting process is complete.
