Controversy Over LNG Exports Reminds Some of Keystone Fight

An article in CNN Money today draws similarities between the fight over the Keystone oil pipeline project and LNG export projects, with environmental groups opposing energy resource developers.  The article references Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass LNG Liquefaction Project as an example of the broader controversy in which  environmental groups are pushing the U.S. government to take the environmental affects of hydraulic fracturing into consideration when deciding whether to approve applications requesting authority to export LNG to non-Free Trade Agreement countries.
