Consultant: Canadian LNG Export Project Would Diversify Natural Gas Customer Base

Ralph Glass of AJM Petroleum Consultants told the Calgary Herald that he believes Canadian natural gas producers will face competition from an Alaskan natural gas pipeline to be built by TransCanada, and that an LNG export terminal built on Canada’s west coast, such as the Kitimat LNG project, would allow Canada to diversify its natural gas customer base and access higher-priced overseas markets.
