A Pascagoula Port Authority official told The Mississippi Press that he expects Gulf LNG Energy to break ground within the next 30 days on its proposed LNG import terminal. Gulf LNG received final approval on a three-year lease with Jackson County, Miss, for a construction materials staging area. Construction is expected to take approximately three years and cost between $600-$750 million.
