Construction on Maple LNG Project Expected to Commence in Spring 2008

Officials with Maple LNG announced yesterday that construction on the regasification terminal is scheduled to commence in the Spring of 2008 after all necessary permits are secured. Negotiations with LNG suppliers are expected to begin in January 2008. Kevin Dunn, president of Maple LNG partner Keltic Petrochemicals, said, “[t]he LNG supply will certainly be there when the plant becomes operational.” Read more in the Chronicle-Herald  (Nova Scotia, Canada).
