Connecticut Gov. M. Jodi Rell (R) released a letter written to Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D-N.Y.) urging him to ensure that New York’s state agencies thoroughly examine the Broadwater LNG proposal. According to a report by Newsday, Gov. Spitzer has yet to take a public position on the Broadwater LNG proposal; one spokesperson noted that the “New York State Department of State still needs to complete its coastal zone consistency review that will be completed on February 12. Once that is complete, the governor will review the project.”
