Gordon Shearer, CEO of Hess LNG, said last week that uncertainty surrounding the computer modeling required to calculate LNG facility safety exclusion zones is playing a large part in delaying development of the Crown Landing LNG terminal. Shearer told the Salem County Sunbeam (N.J.) that “what location works or technical design we’ve got to have depends on these computer issues being resolved.”
