Chesapeake Supports Exporting U.S. Natural Gas as LNG
A Chesapeake Energy official told market analysts yesterday that the company supports recent efforts in the United States to export domestic gas as LNG. The official noted that Chesapeake is not likely to invest directly in U.S. liquefaction terminals, but is willing to enter into long-term gas supply deals that will facilitate LNG export projects.
