Cancelled Yacht Race May Portend Future Restrictions if Fall River LNG Terminal is Built
The Jamestown Press (R.I.) reports that, after the arrival of a propane tanker cancelled the weekly yacht race in Narragansett Bay, boating enthusiasts worried that future events may be imperiled if a proposed LNG receiving terminal is built near Fall River, Mass., and the amount of traffic requiring security zones increases. However, Harbormaster Sam Paterson said “If everybody works together, the inconvenience will be minimized.”
