California State Lands Commission Approves Expansion of Pipeline from Costa Azul Terminal
Reuters reports that the California State Lands Commission on Friday approved the expansion of the TransCanada owned North Baja Pipeline to transport natural gas from Sempra’s Energia Costa Azul LNG terminal to the California market. The minutes from the State Lands Commission meeting note that Sempra will be required to complete an annual study to determine the impacts of using gas with a higher Wobbe Index than currently is used in the air quality district and to implement appropriate mitigation measures.
