Calais LNG hosted a public meeting last week to receive comments regarding its proposed LNG import terminal and told the Bangor Daily News that it received a positive response to the project. Two Calais officials, the mayor and city manager, cited potential for economic development and told the Bangor Daily News that the meeting was “positive.” According to the publication, a number of attendees opposed to the project also attended the meeting.
