Business Group Tells FERC that LNG Projects Necessary for Economic Development in the U.S. Northeast
Citing the recent closing of Quaker Fabrics in Fall River, Mass., the Massachusetts Chemistry & Technology Alliance (MCTA) filed comments with FERC claiming that the Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal proposal should be approved to alleviate the high energy costs facing businesses in the region. MCTA claims that Massachusetts policy makers have so far “failed to promote long-term solutions to the coming energy crisis.” MCTA’s filing is available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP04-36.
