Bribery Investigation Will Not Impact Nigeria LNG Expansion Project

A probe into allegations that U.S.-based Kellogg Brown and Root paid $170 million in bribes to secure work contracts at the Nigeria LNG plant will not impact the proposed expansion project, according to yesterday’s Platts Oilgram News. Supply from NLNG, which could reach 17 millions tons per year, has been delivered to the U.S. in the past, but may face gas quality issues at some U.S. terminals. [Subscription required]
