BP Trinidad & Tobago Explains Challenges Facing LNG Exporters
Robert Riley, chairman and CEO of BP Trinidad & Tobago, recently addressed the challenges facing traditional LNG exporters, including Trinidad & Tobago. Riley said that the LNG liquefaction operation in Trinidad is a “low margin business” due to increasing global LNG supply, declining natural gas prices, and Trinidad’s “relatively high” tax rate for the industry.
