According to The Bahama Journal, Bahamian Minister Leslie Miller says that government attorneys, with input from foreign consultants, should finish composing draft regulations governing the LNG industry in the Bahamas within two weeks. He adds that the Bahamian government has not yet entered a heads of agreement with AES to construct an LNG terminal on Ocean Cay. Previous press reports indicated that the Bahamian government would not sign such an agreement until LNG regulations were adopted.
