Authorities Wait to Consider State Permits Until County Decision on Bradwood Landing Land Use Application

The Daily Astorian reports that before the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will rule on NorthernStar’s application for air and water quality permits for the Bradwood Landing LNG terminal, officials in Clatsop County, Ore., must approve three zoning changes to make the project compatible with the county’s land use plan. Before issuing its zoning decision, Clatsop County officials will hold a public hearing on July 10 to solicit comments regarding NorthernStar’s proposal.
