In a letter dated March 17, the Army Corps of Engineers asks for FERC’s input regarding Weaver’s Cove Energy’s revised plan to transport LNG to its proposed LNG terminal in Fall River, Mass. and determine whether the existing EIS is adequate. “We are specifically requesting that the FERC review the revised operational plan for ship transit, evaluate the effects of the proposal, clarify them for public review, and determine whether the EIS addresses the effects of these changes to the application or if additional analysis must occur,” said Curtis L. Thalken, the district commander. The letter is available in the FERC e-Library in Docket No. CP04-36.
