Contrary to popular belief, liquefied natural gas is not the inexpensive solution that many hope will ease North America’s energy shortfall, says Chris Theal, an analyst from Tristone Capital. “There’s a scarce amount of LNG in the market and it’s going to move where the highest bid is,” he said.
