Anadarko Seeks Supplier for Bear Head LNG Project

Friday’s Telegraph-Journal reports that Anadarko Petroleum’s Bear Head LNG project is without a supply contract. “We’ve been working the supply options as far as we can,” said Bob Daniels, vice-president of exploration and production. “We still have a couple that we’re moving forward with, but it has been slower than we anticipated.” Anadarko has spent $80 million on the Bear Head project thus far. Competing terminals Keltic and Canaport reportedly have supply lined up from Petroplus and Repsol, respectively.
