AES Corp. has filed its application with FERC to construct its proposed Sparrows Point LNG terminal in Dundalk, Md. “It’s a huge milestone,” said project director Kent Morton. “So many projects don’t get to this stage because of the depth of review required to file an application.” Some local residents and political leaders have promised to fight the project.
