Liquefied Natural Gas Limited announced that it has raised A$174 million (before costs) to be applied to the commencement of an “Early Works” program at the proposed 8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) Magnolia LNG export terminal at Lake Charles, La., and towards pipeline infrastructure development and front‐end engineering design for Bear Head LNG’s proposed 8 mtpa LNG export terminal in Nova Scotia. The press release indicates that funds also may potentially be applied to the acquisition and development of a third LNG project in North America.
