Bear Head LNG Proposes to Double LNG Export Capacity
Bear Head LNG, a subsidiary of Liquefied Natural Gas Limited, announced that it proposes to double the production capacity of its proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal in Nova Scotia from 4 to 8 million tonnes per annum. According to the press release, “Bear Head LNG is targeting a higher rate of production capacity based on market response and gas supply projections.” A final investment decision on the project is expected in late 2015 to 2016, with commercial operations anticipated by late 2018 to 2019.
