Downeast LNG Approved to Begin FERC’s Pre-Filing Environmental Review Process
Today, FERC approved Downeast LNG’s request to begin the pre-filing environmental review process for its proposed bidirectional LNG import-export terminal and interconnected pipeline near Robbinston, Maine. Downeast LNG states that it is planning to convert its proposed LNG import terminal and sendout pipeline into a bidirectional import-export LNG terminal and pipeline, which could process approximately 450 MMcf/day of natural gas and export approximately 3 million metric tonnes per annum.
