FERC Releases Letter Order for Sabine Pass LNG Tie-Ins

Last week, FERC issued a letter order granting Cheniere Energy, Inc.’s June 5 request for approval to construct tie-ins. Sabine Pass LNG may construct the tie-ins in the areas between the existing Sabine Pass LNG Terminal and the Sabine Pass Liquefaction (SPL) Project Facilities (Stages 1 and 2) and between Stages 1 and 2 of the SPL facilities. The letter order also approved the request to place the tie-ins in the existing terminal into operation immediately upon completion of the installation.
