Dominion Claims Widespread Support for Cove Point LNG Export Project

Dominion announced that over 20,000 favorable comments were submitted to the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) in support of Dominion Cove Point LNG’s proposed export terminal in Lusby, Md. According to the press release, the comments were submitted by Calvert County elected officials, business leaders and residents, plus about 20,000 additional comments submitted by members of the building trades. Dominion has requested PSC approval to build the power supply to support the liquefaction facilities at the terminal.
