Canaport LNG Receives LNG Export Authority

CBC News reports that the New Brunswick, Canada Department of the Environment has approved an application by Canaport LNG to export LNG via tanker from its terminal at Saint John, New Brunswick. According to a report by The Chronicle Herald, the development does not impact plans of either H-Energy or Pieridae Energy Canada Ltd. to construct LNG export terminals in eastern Canada.
