Chevron Kitimat LNG Project Dependent on Finding Acceptable Contract Support and B.C. Tax Policy
The Globe and Mail reports that Chevron Canada Ltd. President Jeff Lehrmann recently stated that its proposed Kitimat LNG export terminal project in British Columbia is dependent on Chevron finding customers willing to pay acceptable prices for the LNG and the B.C. LNG tax structure expected to be unveiled soon. Lehrman noted that Chevron has many investment opportunities worldwide and cannot fund all of them. Read more in the Calgary Herald article.
