Advanced Energy Solutions, L.L.C. (Advanced Energy) has filed an application with the U.S. Department of Energy to export up to 8 Bcf per year of domestically sourced LNG to nations in Central America, South America or the Caribbean that have a Free Trade Agreement with the United States. Liquefaction of Advanced Energy’s gas supplies will occur at the proposed Floridian Natural Gas Storage LNG facilities, and the LNG will be exported from the Port of Palm Beach, Fla. and shipped to customers via approved ISO containers transported on ocean-going vessels.
