Petronas Planning to Spend $20 Billion on BC LNG Export Terminal

Reuters reports that Petronas is planning to spend up to $20 billion on the proposed Pacific NorthWest LNG export terminal and interconnected pipeline in British Columbia, Canada. The terminal project, to be located near Prince Rupert, B.C., is expected to include two LNG trains of 6 million tons per year each by the end of 2018 or 2019. According to the article, Petronas is seeking additional partners for the project.
